AGNIHOTRA:
The Way of Sacred Fire
Ritual • Presence • Transformation
With Shankara Arunachala (India) • Terra de Luz, Galicia
A rare opportunity to receive authentic and direct Agnihotra teachings from a living lineage of India — here in Galicia
Limited places • Early price available until May 3
This immersion is an invitation into the sacred fire of Agnihotra, an ancient yogic practice that brings us into deeper presence, clarity, and connection with life.
The word Agnihotra comes from Sanskrit. Agni means fire, and Hotra refers to the act of offering. It is a simple yet profound ritual of making an offering into the fire, performed in alignment with natural rhythms.
Through this practice, we begin to work with fire as a force of purification, balance, and transformation. It supports a clearing of what is unnecessary, a return to simplicity, and a deeper connection with both inner and outer life.
We gather at Terra de Luz to learn, experience, and practice Agnihotra in a way that is both authentic and accessible. The teachings are rooted in lineage and lived experience, while being offered in a grounded and practical form that can be integrated into daily life.
You will leave with a clear understanding of the practice, your own personal ritual, and the confidence to begin at home.

Agni Vidya: The Inner Technology of Fire
Agni Vidya is the knowledge of working with the sacred fire as a living force of transformation. At its foundation is Agnihotra, a precise fire ritual performed at sunrise and sunset.
This is not a symbolic or improvised practice. It follows a clear and time-tested structure using mantra, gesture, exact timing, natural materials, and conscious offering. Each element has a function, working together as a coherent system.
In this way, Agni Vidya can be understood as an inner technology, a direct method for working with energy, awareness, and the elemental forces that shape both body and mind. Through the practice, we begin to align with the five elements — earth, water, fire, air, and space — and develop a deeper sensitivity to the subtle body and inner experience.
Fire, in this tradition, is not only external. It is a living point of connection between the inner and the outer, between the human and the elemental. Practiced consistently and in alignment with natural rhythms, it supports purification, clarity, and balance within the individual and the spaces we inhabit. Over centuries, it has also been used to bring harmony to environments, supporting more coherent spaces and contributing to the care, regeneration, and healing of the land.
“When you sit with the fire in the right way, it begins to work on you.
Not only on the surface, but in the deeper layers of your being.
The fire becomes a teacher, if you are willing to listen.”
- Shankara Arunachala

SHANKARA ARUNACHALA
Shankara Arunachala was born in Kerala, South India, in a region deeply rooted in traditional ways of living, ritual, and spiritual culture.
From a young age, he was immersed in temple life and the rhythms of a life connected to nature. At eighteen, he travelled to the West to study aviation and work as a pilot, yet with time a deeper longing and inner search began to unfold.
His journey led him back to India and into the guidance of respected teachers, including Sri Tathata and Sri Balamurugan Swami, who introduced him to the depths of Tantra and Vedanta. He later trained at the Isha Yoga Center, receiving a strong foundation in yogic discipline and practice.
His path eventually brought him to Arunachala, a sacred mountain long associated with fire, transformation, and direct realisation, where he now lives and teaches.
Rooted in the Siddha tradition, his work is not theoretical. It is grounded in lived experience, daily practice, and direct transmission.
What he shares comes from years of dedication to fire, breath, mantra, and the elemental forces of life.
If you feel the call, trust it.
Places are limited, and the early price is available until May 3.
