The adventure can be something much, much more than only taking a journey into the new - it can actually be a great teacher and deeply enlivening experience. It all depends on how we relate with it.

What is your relationship with ‘adventure’? How do you approach and live your journeys? What happens when you experience challenges on your way… and in your life?

It’s easy to have and to make many new year resolutions or intentions, and they can be wonderful if they are coming from clarity and a connected place, and are backed with the right energy. I think we all know, only too well, how easy (and tempting) it is to have a wishful hope for the new year or new chapters. Almost as if just having the idea was good enough for it to come to fruition and then hope that it comes true. Yet if our intentions are not met with correct focus and energy, it's very hard, almost impossible, that we realise our intentions…

It's with great excitement that I write this first blog from ‘Terra de Luz’ (‘Land of Light’) - where the light has always been at the centre of our project and offering. And it’s a particularly auspicious and powerful time to be writing… right now, this very hour, it is the winter equinox – the longest night and shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere.

From this moment, the light in our world increases, and whilst sometimes it’s hard to see that reality amid the darkest days, simultaneously the light is in expansion. This is a very powerful metaphor to remember and hold close to our hearts, especially in times of challenge, and darkness.
